Masonite Castlegate Door Brown Bulb Snap In Sweep

Door sweep fit perfectly and was easy to install. Quick delivery via USPS. Only drawback was $9.95 shipping, which amounted to 71% of product price. Would gladly have driven to a local hardware store instead, but none carried Masonite replacement parts.

Once you remove the door by just popping the three door pins out, it is very easy to remove the old seal and refit the new ones by just pushing them in the slots.

Part was received in a timely manner, as described and after removing door from hinges installed easily.

These sweeps were purchased for my Masonite french doors that were purchased in 2006. These sweeps fit perfectly and keeps the cold out of my house. I had trouble finding a company that had these sweeps. DIY Doorstep is great.

The Masonite door sweeps arrived just a few days after I ordered them. They had to be trimmed slightly to fit the bottom of the door but once properly sized, they fit and work perfectly.

Part came in short time and it fit just as planned. Thanks for the help on the order. I had questioned the bulb concept but was told it will work just fine. I Put the sweep on and it fit just fine, the door closed just fine and could see no light below the sweep, a good fit.

Worked well to replace a 15-year old sweep that was WORN OUT. Don't know for sure if my door is a Masonite, but I didn't need the 'cut-back' since the two kerfs extend to the very edges. So the replacement was a little 'floppy' on the ends, but I just put a small brad in each to resolve that issue. Offering 'cut-back' as an option would make this product spot on as I imagine it will fit many doors.

Installed it in 20 year old castlegate door. Just had to snip 1/2 inch off and bend one of the insert pieces a little closer and then it went in fine.

Just what the doctor ordered; trimmed a 1/4 inch off,popped it on the door - 4 staples for good luck - rehung the door. 20 minutes start to finish.
