We offer free shipping on any United States Postal Service (USPS) order over $74.95. This is only for items that can fit into your mailbox. We also offer free shipping on six or more Frames (no glass).  Shipping rates apply to Contiguous United States only.

Customers in Alaska and Hawaii need to contact our sales team for custom shipping rates.


DAMAGES

Immediately unbox and inspect your item upon receipt. Shipping damage must be reported promptly after receiving the item to file a damage claim. Items shipped via standard ground shipping must be reported within 15 days, while orders shipped Freight LTL (on a wood pallet) must be reported within 2 business days as freight carriers only allow 2 business days after delivery to file a freight claim.

PLEASE DO NOT REFUSE DELIVERYIf the damage is not extreme (e.g., fractured frame, separated in half or glass shattered in all units), some items may still be in good working condition or even repairable!

Email us with the below information included to [email protected] or visit the Contact Us page to submit request, and we'll resolve the issue!

  • Your name and order number (found on your packing slip or in the email confirmation from your order)
  • A picture of the damaged item(s) clearly showing the damage
  • A picture of the box

Once we receive your email regarding the damage, we'll respond within 24-48 hours to discuss your options for replacement or other remedies.

*Please be aware cannot address complaints of damages, including visible or material defects, after the product has been installed or altered.*


RETURNS 

We accept returns within 90 days of the date the order is shipped to the customer.  Please note that any orders that are sent to us after the 90 days will not get a refund. The customer is responsible for return shipping fees, which are often higher than the shipping rate we charge when an order is placed.  Once the product is received, our staff will refund you based on the method of payment you used.  Your refund will only be for the price of the product.  We do not refund the shipping fees if we have already shipped the product. DIY Door Store reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the product cost. 

Custom made products based on the customers measurements are non-returnable.  We will provide you a quote with the details of the order prior to placing the order.  This includes products such as, but not limited to aluminum storm doors, vinyl, wood, or steel frame inserts, and vinyl, wood or steel glass inserts.

CANCELLATIONS

We will only be able to cancel an order up until the package has been loaded onto the carrier truck. Once the package is loaded onto the carrier truck, the order will no longer be eligible for cancellation. If you need to return an item after it has left our warehouse, please contact us by phone (888-998-3667) or by email ([email protected]) to obtain return shipping information. DO NOT REFUSE any shipment from DIY Door Store unless there is documented catastrophic damage to the items. Refusing a shipment for any other reason will result in large re-consignment fees from the carrier, which may negate any potential refunds you might receive.

Custom Sized units CANNOT be canceled in anyway.

 

SPECIAL-ORDER PRODUCTS

Any order containing items/products labeled as special-order may take 3-4 weeks or longer to ship from our warehouse. The customer will be notified by email once the order does ship. Any cancellations of special ordered items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Any order that has multiple quantities may be subject to special ordering and it may take 2-4 weeks for delivery. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Customers need to call to get pricing for international shipments.  Customer is responsible for duties and taxes associated with their order.
