Taylor #1 Nylon Garage Door Hinge
This hinge was used on Taylor Encore and Taylorcore garage doors. It is used to connect the panels to together. This is not a end hinge so a roller will not work with this hinge.

Fast delivery! Installed and worked as advertised. After discussions with the diystore, I drilled the upper hinge section to match my bolt hole centers. A guide on the hinge shows you where to drill.

Hinge was shipped the day after I placed the order and received through the US Mail in three days (received regular updates on status, which I definitely appreciated). Hinge was exactly what I expected and worked well as a replacement part for the original manufacturer's hinge. Distance between screw holes was slightly different than the distance for the original hinge installed on the door but the critical dimension (distance from interior surface of door to center point of hinge was an exact match). If looking to go the replacement route on your garage door, I would go with this product if someone didn't want to replace all the hinges at one level.

If you have a Taylor garage door with a broken hinge or two, these are just what you need. These are the hinges in the middle connecting each section, The do not hold the roller. These have an improved design over what came off my 20+ year old door. Finally - the DIY store did a great job with notifications and delivering them quickly!

original parts
definitely the original product. I use to install these doors when they were new in the 80's and these are the same hinge as came with the door in the original hardware for the Taylor door.
