Taylor Perma Door Brown Bulb Sweep
This rubber bulb sweeps seals the bottom of your door so that air doesn't leave or enter your house when your door is closed.
Measure 36" in Length and 1 3/4" in width.
Can be cut down to fit smaller doors i.e. 32" & 30" doors
Newly re-designed rubber for long lasting life.

I am very happy to have found this item after searching stores for over a year, water coming in with every rain. Yeah, it fits, it was easy to cut at my local hardware store, and it is now a dry entrance way!!

So, so. The video made this look very easy. Getting the existing sweep off the door was somewhat difficult. However getting the new one on was almost impossible. I ended up having to take the door off, cleaning the tracks with scouring pad, applying silicone spray and yanking extremely hard. The sweep can only be pushed on about 1/2 way and then it starts to fold. Once on the door now makes a noise when closing and the outer lip only extends about 1/2 way across the outside of the bottom of the door.

Bought 3 for 3 different doors, 2 36 and 1 32. Used an exacto knife to trim down to 32. Old sweep was 17 years old so a bit of work to get off. Putting new one on used some muscle. Found toward the end of the installation used a block and hammer to finish the job. Found installed the door was really hard to close due to new sweep. Through time and use it is becoming easier as it wears down.

So excited to be able to find a door bottom sweep for my door. This sweep fit perfectly. Old one slid off with a little help with pliers and new sweep went on with some taps of my rubber hammer. Door and threshold are now tightly sealed.

Slid on to bottom of door pretty easily. Had to gently tap the last few inches into place. Nice tight seal now. Should have replaced the old one long ago. Seems like it is good quality.

Replacement Sweeps
We purchased a home last year and the previous owners had dogs that tore up the door sweeps. These work perfectly and now we have a nice tight seal ready for another Montana winter.

Received shortly after ordering. Had the door off the hinges for painting. Getting the sweep off was relatively straightforward. Putting on new required some effort & a block and hammer to offset the buckling friction. Re-hung the door after painting and all is fine.
