Therma-Tru 96 Inch Long Reach Bronze Kerf Weather Stripping

I had a big gap in my front door and door to the garage. When a strong wind would come air would just whistle right through the standard strips. When I replaced the weather strips with the Therma-Tru long reach no more air comes through and no more whistling. As a matter of fact, the heat stays in right up to the door which I love. The opening and closing is a little more snug but it is worth it.

Exactly the right fit for therma tru doors. You need the extra width/depth that this supplies for true insulation from the elements and I can't find it in any local or big box stores. The price was right and the shipping fast. Thanks DIY store-Bookmarked for future orders!

Fit door perfectly. Required all the pieces to be 1 1/4 inch. Could not find locally. Would buy from again.

For Therma-Tru doors, this is the stuff you need. Easy remove of old and snap in new. Only issue I had was 8 or 9 foot length was shipped folded in middle. This causes stiff vinyl that snaps into track on door to have a kink in it. Not serious but not preferred either. Understand shipping an 8 foot length would be a hassle.

I couldn't find anywhere local that sold weatherstripping that is long like this. The house I live in is old and the back door had a thinner Therma-Tru strip on it but there were obvious gaps between the door and the stripping. This one works perfectly! No draft or gaps whatsoever! I will definitely be purchasing more for my other doors in the future!

This weather stripping came as ordered and on time. It was as easy to attach as youtube said it would be. Now that I am so satisfied, I'm going to go ahead order the bottom piece.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I originally didn't notice that I had needed a long reach version. I had to replace the strip that my dogs had destroyed over the years. It was a exact replacement.

Quality is very good foam wrapped in a nylon shell that slides on door nicely. Protrusion that goes into kerf on door frame is also durable and appears better than original. It is slightly thicker which means a slight adjustment to door strike may be required for proper closing.

This was an exact replacement for our Therma-Tru door. You can't even tell it has been replaced. Fits and looks like a new one.

This, and the other Therma-Tru weather stripping items that I ordered, fit my 24-year old Fiberglass and Steel doors/frames as advertised. We have draft-less doors once again; I'm very pleased. Am also pleased with the DIY Door Store staff who helped me through the ordering process.

This is the only 'deeper' door seal that seems to be made and its actually from my door manufacturer, which is a plus. Well worth the money as my doors no longer suffer any gaps whatsoever.
