This sill cap was exactly the same as my existing one (that had cracked because the bottom of vertical side was not fully supported). I had to trim maybe 1-/2" off the new sill cap to make it fit, but after that it snapped right in place (but the original was a bear to remove...). I also placed additional support under the bottom of the vinyl's vertical face to hopefully prevent the new one from cracking.

The sill cap replacement was difficult to find... even my distributor gave up. I found the cap for a Thermotru Exterior door, and it was exactly what I needed. I was surprised at the price of the piece of plastic.
