Therma Tru Brown Snap In Bulb Sweep

This rubber bulb sweeps seals the bottom of your door so that air doesn't leave or enter your house when your door is closed.

Kerf Spread distance (in-between) is 15/16"
Measure 35 11/16"or 41 11/16" in Length and 1 3/4" in width.
Can be cut down to fit smaller doors i.e. 32" & 30" doors

Easy to install sweep

This product was easy to install on door. However, there was a gap under my door on both sides between door and sweep. Had to add a weather stripping tape to have a complete seal.

This double bulb sweep was perfect. The old one on the door was a single bulb sweep, also Therma-Tru. I recommend always getting the double bulb. It seals better.

The part itself was exactly what I needed to replace the door sweep on my Thermatru exterior door. To complete the replacement, you need to caulk the outer edges with polyurethane caulk. It would be nice if you would supply a small tube of that with the sweep. If you don't have caulk lying around, it doesn't make sense to buy a full tube of caulk just for the small amount needed to complete the replacement.

Exact replacement for my door, a very easy install after removing old one. I just added adhesive to bottom and tapped in new sweep and put four staples in each end, a quick fix.

Just got done ordering my 3rd and 4th bulb sweep. The first two worked great. Glad I kept the box to reorder exact same thing. The box still had my receipt in it. Several are similar...make sure you order the right one.

We had to augment it by cutting the tabs on the bottom, and glue and screw the sweep in place. But the door now opens easily and since we have had some cold weather, I was able to verify that it has sealed the door nicely. What a difference!
