Therma-Tru Compression Bronze Kerf Weather Stripping for Complete Door

It's always the best to use the right part, just as you would using the right tool. I swapped an MD product that I had used, with the proper seal purchased from DIY. I made twice the work for myself, DUH. Front door is now tightly sealed and I'm happy again.

This weather stripping was a perfect fit. I searched the stock at local hardware stores and their product was not thick and it was skimpy. The Therma-Tru This Compression Bronze Seal for my door was the best! It seems to be very high quality,durable and easy to install. The representative at DIY was EXTREMELY helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in helping me find the right product. My experience overall with both the excellent service and quality product was PERFECT!

I first went to Lowe's and bought some off-brand seals. Fail! It leaked the next rain. I then bought these, which were the original brand, and they worked perfectly! Don't forget, the medium reach goes on the hinge side and the wide reach goes to the top and door handle side.

Properly installed, they are great, ours were removed and put back incorrectly, by painters, but the new ones are correct. The plan is to order more for the rest of our doors, great product

These are amazing. We just purchased a home where you could see a fair amount of daylight around the bottom of the doors no matter what we used from the local stores. This kit has all of our doors sealing nice and tightly now.

Needed to replace the Thermatru weather stripping after several coats of paint where I didn't even realize that the weather stripping could come off. So it had scratches/cuts in them from running the blade around it. These new seals are the real deal, OEM replacement parts. Fits like a glove and looks great. We moved into a new house a few years ago. The wind just howled underneath and along the lock side of the front door. I had no idea how to fix it. I finally did the research and realized the weatherstripping needed to be replaced. Easier to install than I anticipated. Watched a UTube video which helped. It had a loose edge on the vinyl covering,, where it appeared to be an overlap in the manufacturing, but was easily trimmed.

Previous owner replaced weatherstrip with generic after removing during paint. Installing Therma-Tru OEM weatherstrip with correct reach for our Smooth Star entry door restored the original performance attributes.

This is the best door seal I have found. Totally sealed my doors which are 8 foot doors. I searched for a couple of months before finding the DIY Doorstore. Customer service is top notch.

After 15 years, the original Therma-Tru weather stripping was still holding up very nice, but I had a few small tears where the dog scratched it. The new seal is an exact OEM replacement so it fit perfectly on my Therma-Tru doors and should easily last for another 15 to 20 years or more.
