Great service

Had 2 patio doors with seals broke and plastic cracked. Tried this out to save cost, recommended 2 person job. Since we are new here, and with COVID, I he’d my wife assist me. Installation was a breeze. Had a little problem with one of the plastic pieces, called DIY and they sent out a new piece that day. Would definitely recommend and use this company in the future.

Window is excellent quality, looks great, needed to contact seller and they were easy to reach and helpful. My one complaint is that I found no installation instructions. AFTER figuring it out from videos, I discovered that on the screw packet in very tiny letters, they direct you to complete installation instructions online! That info should be a full page sheet!

Door inserts- 2 thumbs up

I bought 5 of these to replace glass with compromised seals, so shipping was free. One glass was broken during shipping, but was quickly replaced by DIY door. They are good quality and easy to install. I didn’t remove the door to install, but had my spouse hold them while installing screws. Local glass company wanted $327 per insert. The most difficult part of this was finding a reliable source. BTW, this was my second purchase from DIY Door Store.

Makeover at fraction of the cost

Customer service was excellent! I ordered 10 of these and they freight shipped them to me secured on a pallet so everything arrived in perfect condition. Great communication. The inserts themselves were super easy to install. Feel like I have a whole new house at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole doors. The glass itself is perfect when you face it straight on. There does seem like there’s a slight ripple effect when you look at it from a sharp angle it from what I’ve read online that’s common with replacement glass.. VERY happy with this purchase! Going to use them to replace the last set of doors in our home soon! Would DEFINITELY be happy recommending this vendor to anyone! They were a pleasure to do business with.

This unit is an exact replacement fit and finish for any door with this opening size. I have installed many of these units for doors broken by landscapers. I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a replacement, or even as a new installation for someone wanting to upgrade a solid door to include a view. Wonderful customer service! Through my own fault, NOT DIYDoor Store's, I received the wrong size window insert. As soon as I noticed, I boxed it back up. Monday I called and very quickly the too small one was on the way back and the correct item was in my hands. The window itself fit exactly in the door, sealed up and was a trouble free. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS! I experimented with the old window I was replacing. It would be very easy to over torque the screws with a drill driver and damage the mounting flanges. This is just the nature of molded plastic parts. Take your time, line things up correctly and use an old fashioned manual screwdriver. I am very please with DIYDoor Store. I am planning to purchase more parts from them in the future!

Great customer service

The DIY door store was great to deal with. Though I wish they didn't use fedex for their delivery. Fed ex messed up the first delivery, left it at a neighbors back porch, and damaged the glass. Fortunately the people at the DIY door store were great and got me out a new glass insert at no cost and handled all the reimbursement with fedex, which was great. Glass went in well and seems to be a good quality replacement.

Insert arrived as scheduled. Installation was easier than anticipated since adhesive had already been applied on the exterior side. New insert fit perfectly. I wish I had a better photo of the frame before ordering. I would have preferred a more modern design.
