Shipping was very fast, the door looks great except for 1 thing, the caulking was really bad. There is bulging uneven caulk everywhere. It looks bad enough that I want to clean it up. I love everything else about the glass.

The window worked out great for what I needed - saved me a lot of money in lost security deposits. However, my review is focused on the customer service for DIY Door Store. They are AMAZING!!! The window was broken by accident and it took me 6 months to finally fix it. I live in California and I called over 15 local/regional stores, two manufacturers, and DIY was the only one that knew what I was talking about and helped me (they also helped me identify the manufactures to see if I could get the window closer). We ended up breaking the first window (long story and don't ask my husband). When after 6 months I could not find any other local alternatives, DIY sent me a new window (with a discount) and took the frame off for me to save me having to remove the frame that their product comes with (I just needed the glass inset). I can't say enough good about this company. Just wish they were closer so I could use them more. A special shout out to Branden!

We ordered two glass replacement for our back doors. They came 1day before expected and all looked well when we opened the box( no broken glass). However when our installers unpacked the boxes one of the frames was broken ( not because of the packing but the shipping company was careless). We call DIY and they replaced the door in a two day turnaround. They were kind helpful and were more than accommodating to our needs. My experience with DIY Door Store was very good! The website instructions for determining the exact measurements were helpful, and the windows fit exactly. Replacing the windows was very easy, especially after watching the DIY video. One of the inside frames was perhaps damaged during shipping, and they quickly sent me a replacement part. I would definitely use DIY again!

Had size needed in stock at third the cost. Arrow in less than week and took less than 30 minutes to install. Great alternative to buying new door.

WOW! What a difference this item has made in our home. We bought this for our back door, which in our home, can be seen when you come in the house. We had fake plastic window frames on this door for years. They had yellowed and cracked and we didn't realize how hideous looking it had become over time. I knew blinds built into the glass existed, but I had put this off for years. If I realized how simple a fix this is I would have done it ten years ago. Our kitchen now looks amazing. Also, the blinds are highly functional blocking out our afternoon sun, the whole kitchen is cooler this summer. Of course, private at night. ** CALL AND CONFIRM YOUR MEASUREMENTS ** If I had not called the DIY Door Store Customer Service, I would have ordered one size to big. The agent I spoke with 100% understood door measurments, I'm sorry I don't recall his name. I told him the door I was about to order, and gave him my measurements, told him I wanted to make sure I got it right so I didn't have to ship anything back because of the cost. It's important to get it right the first time. WOW! The representative said, told me I needed the next size down (width) he also fixed up my order. What a life saver, so glad I called because it fit perfectly. It took me about 30 minutes to install. I watched the video. My wife couldn't believe I had it installed within 30 minutes of it arriving on a Wed. night after work. Super simple. You don't need to caulk it, all the sealing is built in.

I ordered two of these units to replace the inserts on the French doors to our patio that had broken blinds. A day after ordering them I got an email saying they were out of stock and it might be a week before they shipped. At that point I didn't know what to expect. Much to my surprise they showed up on my doorstep within a week. It took me and my 17 yr old son about an hour and half to install both units, including removing the old ones. We just watched the video on the DIY website and neither he nor I are DIY inclined. We are lucky to tell a flat head from a phillips head! A+ all around!

First time installing a replacement window. The video was a tremendous help, easy to remove old glass and install new one. Took a total of 20 minutes to replace and it was a perfect fit. Make sure to measure outside of frame for fit like the site states. Great quality for a good price.

I replaced the standard glass insert with this one that included the blinds on my exterior (Jen Weld?) metal door. Taking off the existing glass was a pain because of the caulking, but the new one was a perfect fit and only took minutes to install. An assistant is definitely needed for this job. My carport door can now provide privacy or full light!
