Hate that I waited so long!

We love, Love, Love this insert. Husband and I installed the door in minutes with no issues! Just wish we would have done it sooner!

DIY is the Best

Beautiful. The internal blinds are worth it for the privacy, style, and sun blockage in the summer. Easy to install. All you need is another person and a Phillips head screw driver. An impact driver is handy to remove the 18 frame screws, and start driving the 18 new screws, but be patient and finish tightening the screws manually. It takes a bit longer, but it’s worth the time so as not to accidentally crack the glass. Overall the install should take 15-20 minutes. I’ll order the matching unit for the other patio door now that I experienced a simple first-try.

The between-the-glass blind is so nice. The mechanism is magnetic and it feels so solid. At first, we thought is was broken because the blinds would only go up about a foot. After pushing the handle upward as far as it would go, it snapped into place and we were off to the races. Perhaps it has to be this way for shipping. Maybe a sticker staying Push up to engage mechanism would be good to include on future shipments. Anyway, we love the product. It allowed us to take off the bulky wood shutter that was installed on the door by a previous home owner. Finally, the packaging was very top-notch. We ordered hinges and a door sweep also and these were packaged with the window very carefully. The door sweep snapped right on, and it was the correct length as ordered. Hinges installed with no problem. Very nice!

This was a perfect fit replacement for my existing blind glass that had a broken blind. Slightly different than my existing...but the same color and the blind works. Wish you would allow shipping the 'core' back for a discount :-)

Product was installed without a problem. Window looks great. The little white plastic 'hole pugs' took much longer to install than the window. When finished 8 were 'malformed' and not possible to press into the screw holes. Also this window cost twice the amount of my last order ( broken by passing lawnmower ) about a year or so ago. maybe two at adjacent window. Except for that, I'm happy very happy with the replacement windows. Please send another set of plastic plugs so I can complete the job without using putty. Thanks

Fit perfectly!

I always hated the window we had with the fake squares. Adding a set of blinds that just hung on the door didn't fix that issue. This gave me both and fit perfectly. It was a breeze to put in as well. I'm not exactly a handy man, but I had this job done in 45min.

Great quality unit at a fair price

I purchased this to replace a builder grade unit that came with our house and failed years ago. Swap was easy (after I dug out the caulk that my builder used to plug the screws on the old unit). It literally took about 10 minutes. So far, it functions and looks great! I feel like an idiot for not buying this sooner. We're happy to have functioning blinds again! Customer service is OUTSTANDING if you need to contact them for anything also.

Great customer service

First of the panel looks great and is an exact fit! It was extremely easy to install I even managed to do it by myself (not recommended). I did notice a small defect after I installed it. I communicated with customer service via email and they quickly replaced the defective unit! Cant ask for more than that. Buy with confidence. And did I say that the panel looks great??

Replaced old window insert in my French doors in my living room. Old had a grid with blinds inside of the door in the living room. This made it seem like a whole new set of doors. No grid, built in blinds and low E glass. Beautiful and was so easy to install. A MUST for updating old French doors. Now getting a set for the French doors in the bedroom. Love them!

Great Replacements

The 22 inch wide integrated blinds are great replacement for single pane windows with external blinds. I ordered 3 sets and all 6 door inserts work perfectly. They do not reduce the noise that full vinyl replacement doors provide, but for a fraction of the cost of new doors these are great. These Would be five 5 if they came with the ability to chose which side to place the controls, as all of them are right side only.

Low-E the best

I had original single pane front door inserts with vinyl grid that came with house built in 2005. It was too difficult to clean 12 sections per time 4 so was always dirty. I had solar tint added in 2008 to help with morning heat but did very little so I added curtains that totally blocked my view outside. When I installed my new windows I was amazed how much better it was. The Low-E is way better at controlling the morning heat from the sun plus it's easy to clean. Now I can have my morning coffee with a beautiful view outside & no need to added solar tinting.

Insert with Blind

I received the insert with no damage, which was good since the box was banged up pretty bad during delivery. Installation was a breeze. I did it myself and it took about an hour. The blinds work great and the insert fits the door perfectly.
